The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is the state agency responsible for operation and maintenance of commercial aviation, maritime, and certain bridge facilities in and around the Port of Boston. The community affairs unit of its government/community affairs division manages social outreach issues and community relations, including identifying areas impacted by Massport activities and providing displaced persons with relocation to affordable housing and other replacement assistance, pursuant to the Federal Relocation Assistance Act (1970). Series is created for reference use to support this activity.
